Nose Aid Emergency Nose Bleed Clip
Those of you who love the television sit-com “Seinfeld” might remember the episode titled “The Pick”. This episode highlights one of societies taboo practices of nose picking. While it may sound silly, this habit is one of the primary reasons why people get nose bleeds. Other reasons are because of weak blood vessels, sudden impact from an injury or for a variety of other circumstances. To address the problem of nose bleeds, NoseAid was invented. Nose Aid Emergency Nose Bleed Clip is a gentle compression clip that is placed on the soft portion of the nose, pressing directly on the bleeding site located in the septum (where bleeding commonly occurs). This rapidly stops the bleeding and allows the body’s normal clotting process to occur. One of our customers we so pleased with this product that she wrote to tell us!
“The nose aid nose bleed clip helps immensely in the normal process of clotting. A person experiencing a nosebleed can relax more and let the clip do the holding. One is able to work on the computer or do other very low-key activity while the nosebleed resolves. If persons had to drive themselves to medical care, they would be able to do so. – Anne”
We agree with Anne, this is a great product at a low price. We are confident that anyone who has problems with nose bleeds will love this item. Purchase one now so you don’t have to fight another bad nosebleed on your own.
If you use our products in a unique or interesting way, share your story with us and maybe we will feature it on our blog.

Have a Safe and Spooky Halloween
Kids love Halloween and so does FirstAidMonster. Memories of loaded pillow cases, full size candy bars, and mega sugar rushes surround the infamous October 31st holiday. Back then, we didn’t have to worry. Now, trick or treating can be unnerving to allow our children to wander in the dark around the neighborhood either with their friends or parents. So what can a responsible parent do to help children be prepared for Halloween and have fond memories?
Check out our Top 10 Halloween Safety Tip List below for more some helpful suggestions:
Our Top 10 Halloween Safety Tips:
- Teach your children to stop only at houses or apartment buildings that are well-lit and never enter a stranger’s home.
- Pin a slip of paper with the child’s name, address, and phone number inside a pocket in case the youngster gets separated from the group (no child should ever be trick-or-treating alone).
- When in doubt, throw it out! Inspect your child’s candy before they eat it. It’s safest to eat only candy that is individually wrapped and not homemade. If there is anything suspicious about a Halloween treat, don’t risk it.
- A word on masks: The eye holes in masks should be large enough for your child’s peripheral vision. Also, check to make sure that no part of your child’s custom restricts breathing.
- Take the time to make sure there are no tripping hazards on on your porch, steps, and walkway. Check for flower pots, bikes, sticks / branches, garden hoses, or anything that may prove hazardous to young children rushing from one house to the next.
- Motorists: Watch for children in dark clothing that may be running between parked cars or walking on the roadways, medians, and curbs. Be sure to carefully look for pedestrians when entering or existing driveways.
- Make sure that you and your child are visible. Wear bright colored clothes, to counteract dark clothes try adding reflective strips to to your child’s costume or candy bag. Carry a flashlight or glow stick so you can see where you are walking.
- Use the internet to check for registered sex offenders in the area. Make sure your trick-or-treat route excludes any flagged houses.
- Serve your kids a filling meal before they go trick-or-treating. This way they won’t have the urge to chow down on candy before you can inspect it. It will also cut down on sugar induced tummy aches.
- Make sure that if your child is carrying a prop or accessory to their costume that it is soft and flexible enough no injuries will occur if they trip or fall on it.
From all of us at FirstAidMonster, have a safe & happy Halloween!

It seemed like just a few years ago when my wife was putting Chlorine chemicals into her parents pool. As she was setting down the gallon container the chemical splashed into her eye. It immediately began burning her eye. We quickly began to irrigate her eye with water and after about 15 minutes of this we drove to the emergency clinic for treatment. It happens that fast.
Whether you are playing a sport, working in the yard or at your workplace, eye injuries do occur. September is recognized as Sports & Home Eye Safety Month by the National Safety Council. We want to build awareness of this topic and encourage you to take a moment to look over these links.

Be prepared and wear the appropriate safety glasses, goggles or shields for the potential hazard you may encounter. You only have two eyes. Eye injuries can be prevented.
